I like it the way it is! It looks fresh and clean. Just live with it a little while. I would put a piece of artwork somewhere... above the tub maybe. Just something to look at. I love how your shower turned out. You're probably waiting for the glass.

Bring in color in accessories. I like each person that uses the bath to have their own color towel. Brings more color into a bath. Or change the wall color. I would do that before painting a new vanity. my old bath... my towels were a lavendar my husbands gray

I know exactly how you feel. We are in the process of building a house. It is so hard to pick things out, and visualize what it’s going to look like in a room. You just want to cry when it doesn’t turn out how you thought it might turn out.
I think your bathroom is beautiful! I think accessories might make you feel better about it, or painting the room again if you want to get really extreme. Maybe changing the bulbs, and see if it looks better to you.
I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. You could look at pictures on this website with similar finishes and see what those owners did.

First thing I would do is recess that medicine cabinet! It absolutely overwhelms the sink area. I'd get a smaller one too--one that didn't have a seam running down the middle of my face as I stood at the sink!

Recessing makes a world of difference; and it's easy.

I think some greenery would go a long way. Maybe hang something like this on the wall above the bathtub for a 3-D effect and some green. Enjoy your new, lovely bathroom!

I love the shower. Looks very nice. I do agree with tatts on the medicine cabinet.

It's very pretty and will warm up when you finish it. I'd do a really beautiful wallpaper rather than paint the vanity or tub surround.

I agree--if you paint anything, paint the walls. But move in first and get up some art and towels and you might not have to. It's nice! Just get IN it! (And also change out your floor register for white, stainless, or gray. No hurry.)

I think your bathroom is very, very nice. I agree that you need to live with it first. Get your towels, a rug or two, some art. I sure wouldn’t paint that stunning vanity!

Edited to add: this is why I don’t do gray. You need some color to offset it.

Leave well enough ALONE. Hang some art, get some towels. A nice series of prints over that bub! Don't screw up a nice thing, by JUNKING it up.

NO, don't paint the vanity or tub surround. Add some color in accessories...towels, rugs, artwork, etc. No more gray anything. Right now, you have only two colors, gray & white, which makes the room look like an old B&W photograph.

I don’t think you should paint it but then I have an all white bathroom and love it. I would suggest checking the temperature of your lights and ensuring that you have a warmer temp bulb in there. I ended up switching out all my LEDs for Halogen to get a warmer feel against my cool white trim, cabinets, etc.

I agree some wood and some plants and other decor will help to spruce things up... and also time to get used to this new space and just "play" a little!

I had hoped to recess the medicine cabinet, but we learned we have concrete on the other side. We also faced some other design limitations when removing the wall between the shower and tub that forced us to change things up a bit.

This is my first reno and it was a challenge for me to wrap my head around the many decisions that go into a project like this. I think I played it a bit safe, but hope this will be a room we can love for the next 50 years ! LOL cause my husband will probably never let me do this again!!!! hahaha

Lori, I had a grey/white bath for years and loved it. Loved it more than the baths with color I have now where I have yellow fixtures and wallpaper in one, grey fixtures and wallpaper in another, and pink (yes, pink) in the third. The pink was not my doing, none of them were ;0)

Get some artwork that makes you sing, colored towels. I wouldn't count on the plants unless dried or preserved, you've said no window. I had and have now some cotton washable rugs that are great - when you've chosen your towels and art you might consider something easy care for the floor.

I believe adding colour to the room will greatly help. You have a clean slate to work with. My bathroom is similar in colour although I have a darker cabinet. I added some turquoise greens and blues to the room which I think helped. Have a look. Accessorizing will also help.......the jewellery of the room as I like to call it. It will take some time but eventually it will all come together.

The medicine cabinet doesn't bother me too much, But if you don't need the storage, a beautiful round (or other shaped) mirror would be an easy fix! Glad we could ease your worries!

I would paint the walls as well. It will bring such a great contrast to the room. Other than that, it is stunning!! Great work!

It does look a bit clinical. I think some color would really help.... colored towels, rugs & some wall art will go a long way without having to paint the walls.

Sorry but lack of color is not fixed by adding more gray! Why not paint the walls a color! The turquoise above is sweet - or how bout lilac, or go dark and bold. Anything to your liking. Its a small space and easily changed by repainting at some future date when you tire of the color. Bathrooms and entry ways are traditionally where people get a little bolder with color.
