Pruning, did I blow it?

Z 7b. I totally forgot about the Clematis and noticed all three have quite a few leaves already opening, from bottom to top.


Wildfire is Group 2.

Hudine (2) are Group 3.


Since group 3 blooms off new wood should I go ahead and cut them back, even though we'll still get freezes? I'm assuming none of the new growth will put out buds?
