The darker cabinet color is Benjamin Moore Onyx. When selecting which cabinets to paint a contrasting color, I just try to keep the colors balanced around the room. I hope this helps!

Hi Krissy, I’m so glad you are inspired by our kitchen design. I encourage you to draw inspiration from it, but not to copy it exactly. Make it your own with details that make it unique. The floors are stained with a custom gray stain. Best of luck with your project!

Absolutely amazing kitchen. Can you paint window trim black or does it have to be a new install?

Hi Gloria, these windows were already black, but you can paint most types of existing windows. You just need to use paint that’s appropriate for the material that the window frame is made out of to ensure that it sticks and doesn’t peel off or flake.

I think I commented previously, but I must say again, this is the best kitchen I have even seen! Elegant but not to the point that you feel you can’t cook in it (can’t get it messy with full on Christmas baking). I don’t have questions and I’m not doing a project ☹️. I just love it. Hi Heather, we always use a three step process when painting cabinets to make them more durable, with the last step being a lacquer paint application. However, lacquer does not necessarily mean a shiny finish. It just refers to the chemical makeup of the paint. The finish on these cabinets is a satin finish. Best of luck with your project!

Hi Cindy, the field tile for the backsplash is now discontinued, but it was a 3”x6” beveled edge marble, similar to Carrara marble. The tile inset over the range is by New Ravenna Tile. Best of luck with your project!
