Starter home. 3yr max stay. This is a small home with a fairly open main floor. Needs a better workflow and, obviously more storage.

What should I put on the empty wall? I'd like to move something over there. Because this set up sucks.

I am hoping to add a gas line for a dual electric and gas oven/range. If I move the oven I'd have to figure out a vent situation. If I move the fridge then I would have to extend the water lines. there is a full block basement below.
OR since this is not our forever home should I just slap some cabinets (drawers) over there and call it a day? Also worth noting that there is this whack sconce that hangs out on the empty wall that would have to be dealt with if I were to add uppers.
