love the island colour too

I too love this island colour. I hope to get a quick response also. I'm renovating my kitchen and decided to do white and grey island . my counter top is Calcutta Venice MSI. I'm just not sure how this island colour would work in my home. my walls are revere pewter. I am afraid the island colour I chose Kendall charcoal is too dark. please tell me what you think for island colour also a white colour for cabinets. my floors are the large white shiny tiles with grey graining and I chose grey glass backsplash. please help

Hi!

i used Benjamin Moore CC20 Decorators White fit the cabinets Love it ! The island is Benjamin Moore Cinder. It goes great with my walls which are Benjamin Moore Silver Chat at 75% less saturation. If your walls are already painted I would definitely go with the same colour family but darker for the island. I love a feature colour that stands out. Either dark or medium is beautiful against the white cabinets. Don’t be afraid to go dramatic. You can soften the dark colour with cool hardware. Try not to go dark island with dark hardware. Yes my walls are already painted the revere pewter by Benjamin Moore and unfortunately does not have a darker colour on that swatch. I believe it stands on its own. This is why I’m having a hard time deciding wich paint colour for my island, Kendall charcoal or cinder AF705. I’m planning to do a waterfall edge on one side

Take the Kendall and the cinder swatch and put it next to the revere swatch. See if they marry well together. I’m in love with the cinder. It’s a beautiful gray !!
