I have what appears to be nandinas growing along a fence line (Just bought this house before Christmas) However, they barely have leaves. They are mostly just branches with a few leaves at the top. They are in a fully shaded spot. Should I trim them back and see if they will fill in more, or is there something out there that looks like a nandina, but it’s something else? No photo to show...I struggled for mine to upload on here, but they have leaves identical to nandinas, skinny and tall branches that grow straight up, and they are about 6ft tall or taller. They look very scraggly and not full at all.
