Thank you for your interest in our products, and posting a very good question!

This fixture comes with a built-in dusk to dawn photocell which turns on the light at night, and off in the morning. It automatically turns on/off based on surrounding light level, and you are therefore unable to select a certain amount of hours, as this will be based on daytime vs. nighttime.

Alternatively, if you would rather use a timer (which would have to be purchased separately) you have the ability to easily disconnect the photocell, by unscrewing it using a screw driver, and simply disconnecting the wire. Once that is done, you can screw the photocell sensor back in the fixture, and the light will only turn on when powered through a switch, or a timer.

Same would apply for a motion sensor. It would have to be purchased separately, and would have to be externally installed.

Finally, as a side note, please note the fixtures comes with a built-in integrated LED Module board rated at 50,000+ Hours. It is equivalent to a 200W Incandescent bulb, and is not dimmable.
