Great room. Love all your selections. That rug is stellar. I do like the canvas but I don't think it's right for your room. This is how it might appear. IMO it doesn't seem strong enough to compete with your furnishings.

Check greatbigcanvas.com for a canvas. No need for a frame and they offer multiple sizes for the artwork.

Sorry to be off topic but you need to keep the floor lamp or the end table, but not both.

I might move the tree or say goodbye if it's not real. Put the standing lamp there and get another lamp for your table.

I think a large rectange would look better there. Do you have a wall across from the sofa where you can place your art?

We think the piece is really lovely, but we might look into something different for over your sectional. Something more rectangle rather than a square. Or you could even try a set of three smaller prints like in our design below.

For your space, I like the size and shape of the art in Beverly's second photo.

Find one to hang 5" above the sofa that will leave at least 10" between the top and crown. It can be as wide as 75% of that side of the sectional.

Absolutely nothing wrong with large art! But the space over your sofa is rectangular and this particular piece of art is square. I would hang this one on a different wall and look for something horizontal. Perhaps consider a pair of paintings to fill the space. Remember to not go too high or too close to your sofa, there should be a bit of breathing room there.

I like the new, larger piece! People tend to shy away from large art but when it's done right it look fantastic.

Perhaps you can switch walls and put the square first piece on the wall where the floating shelves are. Then, choose a selection from the shelves to hang over the sofa, using a rectangular space so that there is space between the sofa, eye-level viewing, and then the top row being just above the first, not up to the ceiling. That would use both walls. I would also suggest replace the plant with a real one. Very nice selection of furniture!
