Tigerwood is certainly a good choice, with the added benefit that it will match your existing deck.

Many exotic hardwoods, including tigerwood, are actually great for poolside decks because their dense grain structure resists splintering, making them safe for bare feet, and keeps them from getting too slippery when wet. They also contain some natural oils that help resist moisture. I would definitely recommend sealing tigerwood with an oil-based sealer though to maximize its performance. Thanks! I actually bought my Tigerwood from you many years ago! Is there anything we can use to bring back the original color and then seal it? Or are we too far gone. Will the sealer help with slipping? As we have definitely had a problem with that over the years.

The Ipe Oil I recommended above will bring back the color. Clean the deck first (we sell a 2-part cleaner and brightener made by DeckWise that works really well) and let it dry, then apply the oil. Ipe Oil won't really improve slip resistance though.
