Entryway decor and design

I have this entryway where we have a console table which is made of stone and same beige/gold color as floor marble . It’s v muted And I don’t like it. i am also going to get rid of this ugly mirror . I want to have some seating so ppl can take off and put on their shoes comfortably. So i moved the console table and put two chairs just to see how it looks. And I don’t like the look. It looks off, maybe because It’s a small area. I do need seating so what do you think will look good here?

A bench ? A console with two pull out stools?

I want a statement piece.. but don’t know what or how to achieve ? I am thinking a nice mirror or art work on the wall too.

The ceiling is two storey as you can see.

On both sides of the entryway are identical coat closets so I cannot use those walls for any decor.

How about a console table that has slide-out seats/stools/bench? Just be sure that the sizing fits well.

Right , I m thinking the same too. I like the last pic . how would this mirror look on the wall above the console?

That’s the hard part! I don’t know how to carry out the design so it maintains the flow throughout the house... I do like colors .. so I will like to have neutral base with colors in accessories .

if only before buying I could see how it will look in the place!!

I prefer a round mirror over a rectangular console. To avoid feeling overwhelmed, start with a console that fits your space. Many stores allow returns so you could put it in the space to assess how it looks and feels. Then you can post pics for others to provide feedback. A trick that I use is to tape up a piece of cardboard or paper in various sizes to mimic a mirror, artwork, etc. That allows me to determine the best size and shape for the space.

We would try a round mirror over a console like in our image provided below. You can also add some ottomans or stools underneath if you need seating.

Yes I have been looking for a console table with stools underneath. I think seating is our need so it has to be with stools or with space underneath for pullout stools.
