I bought last year a 48" Thermador range, don't know if its Harmony. I like it, I've had Thermadors for many years, I like the brand. Everyone has favorites, I prefer Thermador to the other ones you named.

Thermador is currently introducing their latest launch of their ranges. You may find a last years model at very good pricing while dealers are clearing out inventory for the new product.

carpese--i ended up going with the 36" Viking. I decided that i didn't need to spend the extra money for a 48" and added an electric wall oven as a second oven. my decision not to go with the Thermador was mainly the reviews I read about a fan that would go on when the oven gets to 300 degrees. I dislike extra noise and my kitchen and living are open plan. I was worried about it being a nuisance. I can't opine yet on the viking because our kitchen is not finished so I haven't tested it yet. fingers crossed I like it! good luck

Local store has a left over 48 pro harmony for the same price as a 36. The new tech is enticing but it seems like a no brainer. I understand the extra venting requirements. Am I missing something? Should I pull the trigger?

I couldn’t get the 48” converted to LPG. I was able to grab a leftover 36” pro harmony dual fuel for a great price.

Barbara Davis, how so you like the SKS?

i really like the Thermador brand and we bought the 48" Harmony gas range. We've had it about 6 months now, and I just found out that ambient temp is reading about 25 degrees higher than what it is set at. Also, my probe stopped working which is the reason i was using another thermometer in the oven. Has anyone experienced this? I'm also a little disappointed that the broil function has only one setting which gets very hot. My old Wolf range had low/med/high so i could control the broil better. i have a tech coming in next 2 weeks but wanted to find out if anything has had any issues with their gas range.

The things i like about the Thermador are the star burners, the smooth sliding racks, and i like the griddle that we have as well. Very easy to clean since it's nonstick.

Im interested in purchasing, how do you clean an all gas oven ?

I am also looking to switch from the Thermador Pro Grand Steam 48 to the Signature, just saw one today at Pirch. Need to make a decision!!

Curious if Carrie went with the SKS or Thermador? And does Barbara like her SKS? Hard to find any shared user experiences online with SKS, Signature Kitchen Suite.

Been building and ended up purchasing the Wolf 48 in range. Wolf was wonderful to work with and welcomed me in their show room. Hopefully I’ll have mine installed in May and using it in June! Takes forever in California to build!
