bobbygil, I wouldn't call HomeDepot or Lowes nurseries, but rather garden centers. If you are looking for multifaceted services of a good privately owned garden center, you'll need to Google. I found several garden center/nursery listings by entering 'garden centers in Morehead City.'

You might also try calling (or visiting) your local NC State Extension office to see if they have a listing on file. You might find them useful in other areas, too. I've attached a link to NC State Extension (county offices).
