My mom moved and gave me her Omni Stitch 1000, and the beautiful cherry wood cabinet that she housed it in. I'd love to learn to use it, but I can't even get the needle to move! I tried oiling it, but it didn't budge.

It came with all of its accessories including the instruction book, but it hadn't been used for about 10 or 15 years, so I wonder if its going to need professional help.

Any advice?
