Simple vegetable garden layout question

I'm doing a much smaller veg garden this year and for simplicity I would like to put it on the side of my house but since it faces southeast I'm worried the zucchini plants will shade the tomatoes or peppers in the morning or afternoon as the sun moves. (I don't want it on the south facing side since that's the front)
Should I do the layout as:
1)
(House)
(South) PPP TTTT ZZ (East)
(SouthEast)
2)
(House)
(South) PPP ZZ TTTT (East)
(SouthEast)
Which would be better?

I'd go with number 2. The sun will move around to the left. The tomatoes (unless you are growing compact varieties) will be taller than the zucchini's (once the zukes really get going) so they would be fine on the far right hand side.

Awesome that's what I was leaning towards! Thank you, I just really needed a second opinion lol I've been going round in circles for a few days now :)
