That first rug posted the Marie Taupe is really nice. The only thing is maybe it looks too tan as opposed to the grey to blend with the other rooms, but that's really a good one.

I like the warmer colors ( like you had) a bit better, but of the ones recently suggested, I like the last one right above this thread. I think it has a clean but interesting look and won't show too much dirt.

Looks nice but they do make carpet tape so you don't have to SEE that you are tacking down that one end.

Looks very nice. Re your old rug, I would cut off the beige fringe on the ends and you may be able to use it elsewhere.
