Deckorators decking?

We are debating on composite decking choices and just learned about Deckorators. I haven’t seen any reviews of the decking - only railing. Anyone have feedback?

I am wondering the same! We have to replace some 1st generation composite decking that is failing.

Read the warranty closely, especially this - 'Staining associated with mold or mildew that
is not properly cleaned within one week of first appearance is not covered under this Warranty. If stains persist, you will be required to produce documentation that you attempted to have the deck professionally cleaned at least one time prior to making a claim under this Warranty.' This makes their warranty basically useless as far as I'm concerned. Who doesn't regularly get mold or mildew? I'm supposed to race out every time some appears and clean it within a week? This is a joke.

We have had ours installed for over a year without noticeable mold or mildew. We try to clean once or twice a year. The bigger issues with discoloration that I am concerned about are caused by the sun.

    Hi Elizabeth,
What’s feedback so far about deckorstors ? We’re thinking about having it but I can’t find enough reviews about it. Thank you

Over two years and we are still thrilled with the product. Other than the annual attack of pine pollen, there has been no discoloration. Even better, it does not retain heat the way many other products do (I can walk on it barefoot) and the surface does not become slippery when wet.

I had the Khaya decking installed six months ago and I have to say this deck is a lot of work. First, everytime I walk on it there is a stain, it shows everything. Within a month it was already covered in a green slime. Secondly, I just breath on the deck and it scratches. Thirdly, the color is drab and only looks awesome when it is wet. For a deck that is suppose to be tough and maintenance free, it is not!

What deckorators color did you go with?

Elizabeth- what color did you choose? Does it scratch easily?
