For the same reason that I abhor horizontal blinds, I shy way from plantation shutters as window coverings because they are dust magnets and hard to keep clean.. It seems the greater the surface area on something, the greater dust collection capability. Our master bedroom faces east. So, we want to darken the room from the rising sun, but we don't like the look of heavy draperies. Does anyone have solid panel / raised panel interior shutters?. If so, are they tiered or one piece? Are you pleased with your purchase?
