Has anyone tried using dried brewers waste as a lawn fertilizer? I have heard about wet brewers waste gets pretty odorous and to use it in a compost blend.... but what about dried material spread out on a lawn? will it got stinky before breaking down?

I've made the mistake of overdoing the soybean meal one year and and the smell was fun for the whole family... and neighbors. I want to avoid that again.
