I see this in nature often.

Here is one example: Cummins Falls, TN had lots of Heuchera and Hydrangea and other plants & trees unknown in the cracks of the river gorge stone layers. I am sure a lot of areas such as this show that plants need no human intervention to survive and flourish.

ophoenix..the stones wouldn't be that difficult to move..I have a feeling I'll be taking them out..what's funny is it's planted in a decent location..

hc..I think stone helps seeds germinate..look what's happened in my front path..it's full of plants that I need to move..
