Very large Kalanchoe starting to lean

Hello. My aunts have this very large (probably 18 in.) kalanchoe, at least I'm pretty sure it's a kalanchoe. It has recently started to lean. What does this mean? It is a very healthy, old plant. It started sprouting offsets from the dirt not too long ago. Does that mean anything? I feel like I read somewhere that when a mother plant starts putting off babies, she's going to die soon. I can't find the article, so it was probably just something I dreamt. I took some of the babies (very carefully and did research first) off about three weeks ago. Here are some picture of this beauty.
