Raised beds and their soils operate differently than does a container planting and I wouldn't recommend using that mix for containers.

I garden extensively in containers myself and have used the Kellogg products for many years - either the Bue Ribbon mix (when I lived in Seattle) and now I use their sister label, Gardener's Gold (same exact product, just sold under two different brand names). I also use the Acid Planting mix for all my containerized trees and shrubs as it is somewhat barkier than the potting mixes and the slight acidity is appreciated by the woodies. I have had excellent success using either. IMO, the potting mixes are close enough to the 5-1-1 that I seldom add any other amendments or bother to mix my own.

And I have never used fabric pots. Most of my containers are large glazed ceramics but I also use a fair amount of plastic/resin pots simply for weight considerations :-) And I have never had an issue with root rots using these mixes. We may be cool in summer and damp in winter but it is not nearly as "wet" here as it is in other parts of the country :-) And especially not in summer, which is dry as a bone!!
