Best smart lock?

Hi, I need help finding the best smart lock for our exterior doors. We currently have Weiser Premis locks on 3 doors. We love the keyless entry, ability to easily create new codes, and the self-locking feature. However, the self-locking mechanism is very loud (startling) and the longest delay before self-locking that you can program is 4 minutes which isn't practical for us. After about six months of use, these two things are still so annoying to us that we are now planning to replace them.

If you have experience with other smart locks, I'd appreciate hearing about them, good or bad.

I'd especially like to know if there are any locks that would allow me to program the self-locking feature to only be active at certain days/times (with lots of kids coming and going, I'd turn it off between 3-7 on weekdays, for example).

I've been reading up on these as I think the most useful feature will be providing access at certain times of day (say for pet care while on vacation, for example).

I’ve been using the Kwikset Kevo lock for 4 years now, I’m actually on the second generation now that I got a new front door. It is a great system overall, but there can be issues. If your WiFi craps out it can be a pain to deal with, and sometimes you have to turn on and off the app. So it has its issues. But I like that I can send keys to anyone I want (and set timers on those keys), I like that I can monitor when and who goes in and out. I also like not having to actually use a key, but like I said it’s still sometimes a pain that i have to dig my phone out of my purse anyway (usually when I have a million bags of groceries in my hands) LOL.

Oliver, what happens if people don't leave by the set time?

I ended up purchasing a Kevo and find the smart lock to be too finicky, sometimes not working due to poor connection and not quite smart enough yet. If I were to do it over, I would install a regular lock. I do like the ability to unlock/lock the house from my car in preparation for unloading a lot of items as it saves trouble at the door. But with the Kevo, for me to be able to unlock the house from my work, i would have to purchase a separate access package.
