I want to brag about our county extension office here in Hernando County. They have a most wonderful Master Gardener's program where the volunteers manage a plant sale/display garden for 2 half days a week. They display and propagate and sell plants that are suitable for our area. The prices are unbeatable and they are so friendly and eager to answer questions. The best thing is that they have all these display areas laid out so that you can see what the plants look like planted in the landscape. And they make use of as many Natives and water-wise, low maintenance plants as they can get their hands on. The place is so peaceful and there are so many butterflies, bees, hummingbirds around. It's just a joy.
