Trying again - it would not let me post more than one pic above -

Jackie

OK, I am trying again after having a lot of trouble posting pics. Here are some from the same sidewalk, looking in the other direction:

I wish I could be a pedestrian walking down your street, and then suddenly coming upon this - an enchanted garden.

EPIC!

Gees, I think I will definitely lose track of time if I was there. They are so beautiful. It is like a path to a hidden garden. Ingrid is so right :) and I feel the same.

second pic on left side are hedges with white roses. I hope they are roses...what type ? It is so well maintained and tall with so many blooms.

Thank you for posting :).

Jin - if you mean the one with small white blooms, that is 'Gourmet Popcorn', a modern shrub rose. Blooms like that from April thru Nov. I do shear it with hedge clippers.

Your neighbors are blessed!

What can I say, but beautiful job

Absolutely breathtaking. Ain't this just a wonderful spring?

FYI, I have found that I have fewer problems posting photos if I reduce them in size.

Very beautiful!

I also wish you were my neighbor. Stunning gardens!

Magnificent !

My word, Jackie! It’s incredible! Who is the pink/mauve rose tumbling over the fence in pictures one and three? It’s so perfect in every way for that spot. Don’t you just love the Cerinthe? I’m loving it for cutting. Lisa

Thank you all - yes, it is an amazing Spring this year - 46 inches of rain, followed by sunshine and warmth for a few weeks - all of the roses just exploded.

Lisa - the rose you asked about was one of the old ones which was on our property when we moved in 30 years ago (in three different places). I finally figured out that it is Cl American Beauty. It is a once bloomer, but puts out so much new growth every Spring that it extends its blooming period to 2-3 months. Also it is VERY fragrant. The one on the fence you noticed is in the location of the original one. It is a climber with very flexible canes. It tip roots frequently, so I always have new baby roses to figure out what to do with.

Sumptuous!!!

Thank you.

Beautiful! I wish you were my neighbor!
