You will need to consider whether you need a cool or a warm tone in your room. With the ceiling fan, I'm assuming your room could be hot so it needs a cooling colour. Personally, I am not a fan of grey and brown together, I know it is the new thing, but I would prefer to see a soft light blue to pick up on the navy in your rug

I just had my bedwall painted a very similar shade, and we move in 2 weeks so I'll know that our wood furniture looks good with it soon.

My favorite "warm" grey is Benjamin Moore Rockport Grey. Here it is in our home...

I just bought sample of Rockport Grey....thanks for giving me an idea of how it looks!

No problem! We also used cliffside gray which is a beautiful calming gray with some blue in it. Works well with wood.

We are loving Kelsey Cordill's shade.

The brown is a bit too " farmyard" brown for me, I love the furniture etc though. This is one of my favourite photos, the walls are grey, and the orange pops it beautifully.

Thanks for the new ideas. We have replaced our bed with a Charles Rodgers wrought iron bed. I'm still debating colors.....but love Kelsey Cordill's suggestion!
