When I bought my peonies last year I tried to make sure that all of the plants were of the same type... I thought I had bought Dr. Alexander Fleming peonies.

My first plant to bloom surprised me, it has jagged edges and quite an open center. It also has just 3 single blooms on the entire plant. What variety is this one?

I believe this one is the Dr. Fleming variety. It is a much fuller blossom than the other and also has 3 buds per stalk, with about 10 total on this plant in the photo.

Does anyone know which varieties these are? And will the top plant always produce a single bloom per stalk?
