It seems like it would be easiest to grab if it is vertical.

Pretty knobs. T knobs can be prone to spinning, are you ok with that?

I used them in my laundry not my kitchen as I knew a lack of straightness there would irk me less. Mine also have grippers in back to bite the wood to try to offset spinning. Not sure yours have that.

These are T in shape. Vertical. Note the location on upper doors, and bottom of T lines up at trim on cabinet.
If yours do not have tiny grip prongs to avoid spin? Re select . The spin will make you crazy.......with constant tightening and realigning.
