Wow! Nice. 4 of 5 of my seedlings from Sunnywood are doing well. The Empress Wu seedling didn't make it, unfortunately, but the rest seem downright vigorous.

Most of my hosta gardening anymore involves digging up volunteers and throwing them in the yard waste. I try to do that before they get very large, but I often fail. I'd guess 90 percent of the hostas growing in the yard are volunteers. I only bought two hostas last year, Last Dance and American Icon. I imagine there were dozens and dozens of new volunteers.

I've gotten so many streakers now, I've started letting a lot pods stay on the plant. Can't grow them all under lights. So I'll probably start having bunches of streaked volunteers.

It's a volunteer world.
