Was going to fill birdfeeders this morning and found an 18-24 inch diameter snapper digging a hole to lay eggs I presume. This is a high traffic area and the eggs will not be safe there so I plan on moving them. There is a small stream within 20 ft of the eggs. Looking for advice on removing and relocating the eggs. I would also think the numerous racoons and maybe even squirrels would find them very quickly.
