Difficulties using Houzz

So many people seem to be having problems using Houzz, especially the app. Is there a "how to" page somewhere? My questions:
1. We used to be able to message someone. Has that been taken away?
2. Why can I edit my post on the web but not on the app?
3. So many people seem to be unable to type on the app, being forced to use talk-to-text, often with unintelligible results. How to fix this?

Anyone have any advice?

Sorry about the unintelligible posts! ((( I think I'm the poster child for that, although I'll often try to edit once I'm at a computer. You can still message..... you have to go to advanced settings. Sometimes my settings have changed willy-nilly and I have to reset them. I wrote to Houzz about V2T, and not being able to reply, but never got an intelligible answer. I don't actually use the app on my phone.

I have noticed I can't type at times on my tablet, but usually can on my phone.

You might be using an old browser like Windows XP?

Windows 10 is near flawless. Worth it.

I have given up on the app and just use the website in a browser on my tablet. I have it on my phone just so I can get notifications of new messages but the app is almost unusable beyond replying to direct messages.

Could be. I'm usually using chrome on my mobile devices; Windows 10 on my PC. But I'm mostly on mobile devices. So why does it work on my Pixel phone, but not my Pixel c tablet?

Except its working now.

I tried posting on my phone using firefox, it would reverse my letters, and wouldn't let me backspace. Firefox on pc, no problem at all. So if I post a photo, i post it somewhere else on my phone, then save it to my pc to post here. I would probably post pictures more often, if it worked. I don't want an app on my phone either. I don't trust most apps, with all of those unnecessary permissions/spying. (facebook!)

My phone, which is all I use anymore , won't let me talk on old post. When I hit the space bar, it deletes what I write. Only on old post. Houzz is weird. Thats why I don't post as much, but still read post.
