What are these and how do I control it?

So these pointy, spindly little weeds starting popping up EVERYWHERE in my front yard this spring and I'm not sure what to do. Hopefully someone can tell what it is by the pictures (sorry that they're sideways). I got a soil analysis and the pH is 5.8, so I've added lime to raise it up. I really don't want to use a weed and feed so do I need to physically tear it all up and plant new seed down? It's everywhere right now. Thanks for any advice you can give.
