It looks like an Aloe zebrina or hybrid. These are not indoor plants. Find the nearest Fynbos and plant it there ;-) Failing that, put it out in full sun during summer and water copiously (work it into the sun gently in spring to avoid burning it). In fall, bring it in and keep it barely moist, watering once a month if that.

Since it’s already got bad form, you can look to see if any of those growths can be broken off and shoved in the soil next to the main growth. They root pretty easily.

Aloes like great airation around their roots. You might need to repot it anyhow.
