Help is one the way. Things are looking a bit cold. To provide warmth--get some woven grass wood shades or fabric shades in a pattern you enjoy. Add a mixture of pillows and set the table with some colorful contemporary glassware that will complement your new color scheme. You could do some nice napkins to fit your color scheme and your everyday china. Consider a live plant that is easy care. I like your furniture selections. Consider adding some end tables and more table lamps. Art is something you will select and you will know it is right when you see it. You are off to a good start.

You might consider adding some artworks to your living room

From the pictures I cannot tell the exact paint color of the walls & ceiling! It looks as if you are possibly going with the more contemporary look of grey- brown tones with varing degrees of color intensity. The baseboards and trim appear to be white. Your furniture in this picture would support the brown, grey- brown and white look. For the windows I would recommend the wood shades I mentioned in a previous comment. These could be draped with a white swag above the shades. I would recommend a semi-sheer pattern for the swag. Sorry I don't have a picture available for you. Patty @ Red Fox Design.

What about adding some draperies with a bold print its a great way to add another texture as well.
