There seems to be a green or dark brick in the mix -- you might try to match that - or do a deep brown.. As to dressing up the curb appeal, a planter box to trellis that stays below the window height (standard trellis sheet installed sideways) to give the house to ground connection some pizazz. If you live in San Francisco Bay area -- that's where "Curb Appeal" show is filmed -- I'd volunteer.

no - grass edges up to the foundation . This picture was taken in late fall as we'd just bought the house

Cute house! I like a dark brown for the lower part of your house. If you can add natural looking stone to stairs and evergreens up front.
