Why didn't you plan to move, remove or resize the window?

I think at this point I would go beyond the window and counters by whatever amount will make it look intentional, and bring it down to the floor. You will need bull-nosed version of your tile or a matching pencil/liner tile to have a proper finished edge from ceiling to floor.

Hard to say without seeing what is beyond the window.

The window used to be a strange door. We added french doors to the right where a window used to be. Basically swapped window and doors to open up a U shaped kitchen into an L shaped opening to DR area & LR. 70's style home update.

Without seeing the whole my recommendation is to tile the wall all the way to the left. Might change depending on whats going on in that space.

All the way to the French door, and maybe around it; need to see the door and wall surrounding it to be sure.

Stop the tile just short of the countertop please. It will be fine.
