I bought from a local company in Denver, Mountain High Appliance. I think they sell nationwide but they may not have a contract with your builder. Maybe ask your builder if they have any appliance company relationships. It sounded like FP sets the builders price and that builders price is offered to any builder/ designer MHA has a relationship with.

Any ideas why they offer the 36 induction range with a griddle and not a grill? Is there something about induction that negates needing a grill? Does it require gas?

Karenanywild what did you decide on the induction range?

@Angel, it's been about a year... how do you like your FP induction range so far? I'm thinking of getting one and was hoping to get a review.

@Angel Me as well. I did not realize there was a pro discount, we are working with an architect and a general contractor. I am going to look into this range, but your experience would be great.

For the record I went with the cooktop over a range and love it. 36 inch Bosch 800 over Bosch Benchmark. My first choice was Miele but their stupid specs said you needed 4 inches between the cooktop and the oven. And I decided I really didn’t want a 36 inch oven. My second oven is a Miele CSO

Also, I just saw F&P came out with a 48" split oven dual gas and induction. This looks like the dream and is less expensive than other pro ranges. I'd be curious what the builder's discount is on this bad boy. If you can swing it (almost double the price) and have the extra room... It might be worth giving this one a look.

Thank you for the update. I ended up going with a Wolf 36" induction cooktop and a Monogram 30" oven to be placed underneath. Neither is installed yet. I decided against having an all in one cooktop/range for various reasons.

I just found your thread and I'd like to thank you so much for your review. It's been extremely helpful. We too are looking at a 36" FP Induction range. I personally LOVE the look of the full range and am even considering the classic model. But we just can't decide if it's as practical as the cooktop and wall oven. And hearing you say you use your steam oven more, makes us think that the full range won't get used as much. We thought about also adding a 24" FP Steam oven for that reason. But then not sure if it's overkill to have a full slide in range AND a wall oven.

I also noticed something about the range doors on the 36" models and I am curious if your model is like that and if it is, if it's something that you've come across as an issue. For some reason, the interior door glass has a huge gap at the top where I would think food and spills could slip into and then fall between the panes of glass?? We noticed this design on the 36" ranges and the 24" wall ovens but 30" models don't seem to have this.

@Angel, thank you for your review. It's very helpful. Your kitchen is gorgeous! Is that an F & P frig? If so, have you found the stainless steel door are easily scratched or dented? That's the one thing holding me back from the F & P frig reviews. I wonder if they've toughtened them up a bit.

@Angel, your kitchen is beautiful! You must be so pleased with it. I am finalizing the details of my kitchen renovation this week and yours has provided some last minute inspiration.

What refrigerator and wall oven models do you have? Also, are the drawers inside your peninsula refrigerator drawers? If yes, what brand are they and are you happy with them? I have been going back and forth on this element since the less expensive options seem to have more reliability issues.

The fridge doors have not scratched or dented but they get finger prints pretty easily. We got the model without the icemaker or water filter and I regret not getting those. We do not have any other F&P items - just the range and the fridge.

@Angel, thank you! I am considering foregoing the icemaker and water filter too. Does the frig seem uniformly cold inside without warm spots? Does it stay as cold as you would like? I'm usually around 36 degrees in my frig now.

@JJ Mekai We have decided on a 36" model from Bosch with the two compressors, the internal filtered water and ice. I really hope it works out. In person, the interior was comparable to higher end integrated models. I would have considered the F&P if I could order it with a water dispenser on the inside, since I really like how it looks.

@jabaz, I have read Bosch recently took over their refrigerator R & D and manufacturing so it should be an excellent product. Please post a review once you've had it for a bit.

Yes. It stays consistently cool. I haven’t noticed any warm spots.

@Amanda Olson I never noticed the gap in the glass at the top. I just went to look and ours has the gap. There isn’t any food in there.

@karenanywild - curious what you went with and how it’s working out? I’m looking at the FP 36” induction and comparing to wolf and others and had some questions for the owners out there:

• I saw a review on their site that said the induction burners were loud to the point where it bothered the dogs. I’m assuming this is by using low quality pans but figured I’d ask
• another reviewer said when using the oven and cooktop simultaneously it’s hot bc the oven has a gap at the top front to exhaust the oven??
