How long does it take for seeds from this to send up plants?

That's a mystery to me. Many of mine go to seed, I never see any seedlings, but there always seem to be new plants all of a sudden.

About five years from seed. Many people don't notice them in the yard because it's just a blade of grass then bam there's a flower.

I like to collect the seeds and plant them; I know to wait after the flower fades, for the stalk to produce the seeds. But after I've snapped the opening head full of seeds off, does it matter to the future of the bulb whether or not I cut the stalk down then?

Does each bulb bloom only once per year like daffodils?

I think you can divide them like other bulbs - right?

And the ones I have bloom several times yearly after heavy rains - true to their name.

The life of the bulb -- is it extended if the stem is left on it to whither?

Visited the Bulb forum here, and did not see a discussion about trimming vs. leaving stems. But they did say that rain lily seeds should be used asap -- the fresher the better. Some people float them until they sprout.

Mine bloom again and again throughout the rainy season, and I just let them multiply on their own. Not sure if its from the bulbs or seeds.
