You may not need to cover the upper windows for privacy, but if hot sun comes directly thru those windows part of the year, you might consider light-filtering shades on those windows. Add 1 1/2” O pulls on the bottom edges and buy a windowshade hook on a long rod. Is that too old-fashioned or do you know what I mean?
Your room will be even more beautiful with pretty patterned panels and sheers.

When you try to blow your photos up they are too blurry. Also stand a bit closer to the windows.

I'd leave the windows naked if you don't need privacy or light control. I love naked windows.
