Those are both pretty modern. Are you keeping the room as is? Furniture, walls, rug? If so the Sputnik will not work...it’s a pretty ultra modern piece. Also if you’re doing the same type of table you would be better off with a linear fixture, the one you have now is WAY too small.

Thank you! The two fixtures I linked to are going in the kitchen which is the room next to this one. The kitchen is being remodeled and will be modern/MCM. For this room I was considering a drum fixture but linear could also work.

Those lights are nice but don’t seem to match your dining chair style.
If keeping globes then something more linear over table and then round again for entry. Is entry 8’ ceiling? If so, something semi or flush mount best

Thank you. Yes, the kitchen ceiling is a 10 foot slope but the rest of the ceilings are traditional height. The dining chairs will eventually be replaced along with the table.

I would go bigger over table and make sure you can put it so it is 34” over table top. Not sure what clearance you have in entry. That needs to be verified.

Thank you! I was thinking the Sputnik style in the dining space would be too similar to the kitchen lights (link in original post). Do you think it complements instead? In entry way we have standard 8 foot ceilings. Thank you so much for your thoughts!
