Guess I'm just curious if there are any downsides other than the question of what happens if you end up moving the bed or using the room in a different way. I have always love this look but my DH seems to be drawn to table lamps. We won't have much room for side tables in this master bedroom, so I figure installing wall mounted lamps makes more sense in that regard.

You could also do pendants.

I love the look of pendants but prefer to be able to aim the light exactly where I want it.

Hi Mittens Cat! I think that wall-mounted lamps are a great idea in a room where you don't have a lot of space for table lamps. They'll take up less physical and visual space while also looking super stylish and being useful.
