How much does 'Etienne' sucker?

My baby 'Etienne' is getting chlorotic in her pot, and I need to put her in the ground. I'm almost certain I've seen this question answered before, but I can't find it anymore. In your experience, how much does she sucker?

What about shade tolerance, root competition? She's a hybrid gallica, and with 'Charles de Mills' ("Chuck the Thug") in her background she ought to be nearly bulletproof. But I'm dithering, so please help!

I have been growing Etienne for about 4 years and it has not sent out any suckers. It is in a mostly sunny spot in my yard - shady until about 10:00, then full sun. Healthy, happy and well mannered rose. My CdM runs rampant, often showing up in unexpected places.

Someone on here gave him that moniker, and it's stuck in my head ever since!

I'll be putting mine in a part shade spot (because that's all I've got in my yard!) and wanted to make sure I wasn't going to have a bed full of 'Etienne' in a few years. She's lovely, but my yard isn't quite big enough for a large once-bloomer. Mannerly yes, rampant no.
