Echeveria ‘Perle von Nurnberg’

Very easy to propagate from leaves, nice plant. If I may say so, try not to touch leaves too much - or coating will rub off. It is very nice right now (doesn't look etiolated - but that may be because of photo angle :)

Thanks Rina. Yes it is the angle. The bottom leaves are not so coloured and have turned a brown colour but still look healthy. I think I will behead this plant and I am wondering if I can still propagate from leaves that are a different colour. Thanks for your help.

Leaf should propagate, if green, pink or purplish. Sometimes, plant gets quite dark color - almost maroon/brownish - if it is in lots of sunlight. I am not sure what color brown are the leaves in question - maybe you can get another photo.

Rina. Here is another photo showing that it is etoliated. The bottom leaves are big and turned down and aren’t the same purple colour, Can I propogation the bottom leaves?

Now I can see :) Still, pretty good looking plant. You can propagate bottom leaves - while there is never 100% guarantee that they will sprout, there is a good chance. OTH, you can prune off top, leaving 2-3 old leaves on the stem and it is possible it will continue growing.
