Your chairs are rounded.... Repeat the round shape.

Although linear chandeliers would extend along the table, it won't repeat the pattern of your round chairbacks..... The round crystal droplets of your current one echoes the roundness of the chair backs, but if you want a change.... Consider two orbs....

Keep the ceiling medallion and add a second for two orb chandeliers... Such would echo the round shape of the chairs too. So....buy what YOU love. It is your house and only you will love with it. Two orbs would extend the length of the table - see below

You will have some issues if you are keeping the ceiling medallion so be careful there

It's under scaled for the table and for the grandeur of the room itself. Hopefully, you have some of the ceiling paint once you take down that medallion you will have some possible paint/patchwork. otherwise, you must get one with a round canopy (mounting plate.)

Your chandelier is pretty. But it no longer looks right in your dining room. Can you use it in another room? Like a girls bedroom? Or a guest bedroom? I would replace the dining chandelier with something more current. There are so many great choices out there and your dining room will look great with so many different styles. I would go with a rectangular shape to echo the shape of your long dining table. Good luck! Your dining room is beautiful!
