I like a canopy bed as long as you don't have a lot of other furniture in the room. Drape it with a solid lightweight fabric in a pale shade to match either your accent wall or some other main accent in the room. Keep it simple, light and airy.

They gobble up visual space like crazy. I wouldn't even select a bed with a foot board in a room that size and I certainly wouldn't drape it with any fabric.

I agree with Beverly. It's going to dominate the space. Go for a bed with a nice headboard instead.

It depends on the bed style so post that and the room and then you will get actual help.I actually think a canopy gobles up space anf you are not posing canopy beds at all
