Nice K. Thanks for the info! Those micro bursts are rude! We had a squall come through the other night with 60mph winds. I am amazed at how well all of my plumeria in the ground held on. The leaves have a unique way of bunching together to become streamline in those high winds.

Rox, I might have waited about that long for TW to bloom as well. I think it bloomed once in the first 4 years and I was considering passing it on down the road. But since year 5 it has been a consistent blooming plant. It seems to do well in a hot spot. I have it in full sun along an east-west fence line so it gets pretty warm until about 5 pm when it gets partial shade from some Live Oaks.

Chris, I had a few containers get blown over from those storms. May and June is the worst time for this because they have more leaves and they don't have strong roots coming out of the container and into the ground just yet. I have been driving sections of rebar to hold the container or using 3/4" EMT as a support. The in ground ones always seem to be ok as long as nothing lands on them. I had one in ground Plumeria get blown over (more of a heavy lean) during Harvey but that was it.

Is TW just way above the fence? Gorgeous colors on that and EPN. SS and TT need to be observed up close to appreciate their unique shapes and colorations.

J, yes it's way above the fence. I up potted it about a week after that picture and am letting it stabilize. It's going to a new spot near the garage where I can showcase its tall slender growth. I had planned on putting Pudica there but we all know how that worked out. What's the verdict on that Tiki Torch overwinter cutting making it?

I grafted TT and it took! I also grafted a tiny additional sprout and am waiting to see if that took, too. It is a stunner of a flower, so worth saving every bit of it. Glad you were able to grow a good tree before the mother was lost.
