Bedroom Design Dilemma

Placement of bed under sloped ceiling

Thinking about removing a deep Sloped corner closet and breaking through to the neighboring room that would become a walk in closet. The bed would need to move from one wall to the next to create space for the door. The problem: the dormer ends where the chair is placed. My question:
The lower bed end would end where the ceiling is only 63“ high. Would you do it, yes or no?

Suspend an old sheet to mimic the proposed roof placement. See how you like it.

Rather than perpendicular to the slope, I'd think about putting the headboard on the wall with the dormer, if it will fit with that heater by the double window. We have a similar situation in our master, but our knee walls are only 42" high. We have a low-set platform bed with the headboard against the knee wall.

Originally, we had the bed against the window in this photo with the A/C in it, but that put the slope in the walking path. This arrangement puts the low part by the headboard and nightstands where you're not going to be standing up anyway.
