Your hostas are gorgeous woodnative. Do you very often have to remove non-streaked eyes? I'm tempted to add Gunthers Prize and others to my wish list.... Is there such a thing as a stable streaked Hosta?

All good streakers need maintenance. Slower growing and multiplying cultivars with good streaking will need less division than a fast growing cultivar with poor streaking

Love your streakers! Which ones in your opinion produce most streaked babies?

Mae, I have Allen C haskell which is very stable. Sally and Bob I divided only once in 8 years

I got Gunther's Prize and it promptly became Gunther's Rim. I am on my second Gunther's Prize and had to remove half the leaves this year. If this doesn't work, I am done with it. My Ice Age Trail, Christmas Tree Gala and Kaleidochrome have remained pretty stable for 4 years. I just got a new streaked one from Monty Carlson. It should be large and hopefully will remain streaked.

I agree with mbug they look terrific! I love streakers as well and hostas with a middle different color, like striptease, Luna moth (which I want) or thunderbolt.
