Counter gray looks warm and tile gray look cool. I don't think white would make it blend better, but is the gray grout a warm gray?

Are you planning on changing the boob light :)?

ETA: I do think it is too busy and not the matching well with the counter. Any chance for altering before grout finalizes it?

I'm sorry, but have to agree with the others that it is too busy, but more importantly, it is the wrong color (too cool toned) for your cabinets.

This is the problem with the gray trend that is still around ... when people try to add the gray/cool colors to a house that seems to have warm tones. The goal might have been to update the house, but the end result is a visual fight of warm and cool tones that isn't pleasing to the eye.

Your kitchen could use a lot more light. Have you thought of adding recessed lights?

Usually your initial instinct is correct. ;) Your kitchen needs a glass backsplash to reflect some light.

IMO before doing anything else get a simple LED track light with bulbs in the 4000K range ( daylight) but I think the backspash is too busy and from my monitor the wrong color.Do not add gray grout it won’t help anything.

While agree it is not quite right, it is not egregious enough to replace right away. I think you should live with it for awhile.
