I'd be leery to match the walls to the trim. The trim would disappear. I lived in a rental where they painted everything the same and I didn't like it. I'm sorry I can't recommend a wall color to go with your trim. I think it'll be tricky putting white on the walls without making the trim look creamy/yellow.

I think that would be really pretty, you would get a very subtle tone-on-tone look. Because your walls would be in a different sheen (example eggshell, vs satin or semi-gloss trim) the color will read as slightly different anyway.

Navaho white on walls, would work just fine. Just get a lower sheen to your paint, than you have on the trim. Many people are doing that now, it seems to be a new trend.
