Hi Danuta, and thank you for your message! The niche was custom made with quartz - so the back of the niche as well as all 4 sides were quartz pieces. The quartz protrudes past the tile slightly which is what gives it the slight "reveal" on all sides. Hope this helps, but please feel free to send us a message if you have any further questions.

The niche is indeed lovely! What are its dimensions? And is that a movable glass shelf or do shelves in niches tend to be fixed in place?

The shower niche is approximately 12" wide x 24" high. The glass shelf is fixed in place. We ask our clients what heights they would like their shelves to sit, based on the sizes of their products, shampoo bottles, etc to make sure everything will fit so the shelves will be most useful.
